Some people have mentioned on this deck, we used to many posts for our railing system. In our opinion the more posts, the more solid the railings. When in regard to a RoofDeck, we figured, the sturdier the better.

We also practice, putting our posts on the inside, vs Through bolting from the outside, the difference in torque affecting the outer rim joists, is lowered dramatically. Which is a safer deck for you and your family.
